Dear 2CV (DYANE, AMI, MEHARI...) friends all over the world!


Since 1975 the Finnish 2CV Guild has published the international 2CV Road Service Booklet Apua-Help. The booklet has become a comprehensive list of 2CV friends and clubs from all over the world (almost 1000 helpers from 36 countries in last issue!). The people included are willing to help fellow 2CV friends in trouble or doubt. Also you may put your name in, if you just want to meet other 2CV friends visiting your area. The help is given on a volunteer non-commercial basis in true 2CV spirit. We hope those needing help would always respect these basic principles!

If you would like to have your name included, visit http://www.suomen2cvkilta.fi/ or download the Apua-Help coupon (Acrobat Reader document http://www.saunalahti.fi/fin2cv/ApuaHelp05-06-entryform.pdf) and send it to us. Indicate the sort of help you are willing to give (abcde classification). If you speak foreign languages, it is an advantage, but most usually the help is given in your home country. Your phone numbers are the most important data.


The help needed is not always necessarily just repair work. You can also give your name, if you just want to meet people. Do not be afraid that too many people will contact you, sometimes there are none at all during the two years of existence of the booklet.


The inclusion is free, but if you would like to receive a copy of Apua-Help, please send us about 5 euros in cash in a letter (or equivalent of paper money in another currency. NO cheques, please). If you have been in the booklet before, you still need to write as old helpers will not go automatically in. The booklet should be out by June 2005 and will also be available at the world meeting in Scotland in July.


Please, let your all 2CV friends know about this possibility for registration for Apua-Help. Talk about it at your local meetings.

PRE-ORDER OFFER FOR CLUBS AND ASSOCIATIONS

We offer all 2CV and Citro?n clubs a possibility for sharing our printing and production costs by ordering copies of Apua-Help booklets for lower prices in advance: (20-50 copies: 3 EUR each, 51-100 copies: 2,60 EUR each, 101-500 copies: 2 EUR each, 501-1000 copies: 1,60 EUR each). The prices include shipping in Europe with normal cargo service.


These prices are only valid against a firm order before printing. You may distribute/offer the booklet to your members, but not to sell it worldwide or at international meetings (e.q. the Finnish 2cv club will take care of selling APUA-HELP at the 16th International Meeting of 2CV Friends in Scotland). If interested, please contact us as soon as possible.


CITRO?N CLUB CONTACT ADDRESSES IN APUA-HELP


APUA-HELP publishes a list of contact addresses for 2cv and Citro?n clubs all over the world. Please join in the club list now! The listing will appear separate from the helper listing sorted by country. The inclusion in the list is free of charge and in return we will send a sample of the APUA-HELP booklet to each club (with more than 10 members) when completed. We hope it leads to increased cooperation between clubs and some new members for you.
