Created in 1998 by the Alsace Club 2CV, the museum aims to show to visitors one of the greatest myth of the french car industry. The exhibition is dedicated to all public, children and adults, 2CV enthousiasts, 2CV friends or curious. The museum wants to show the car that Citro?n conceived and sold for 42 years but also wants to show the place that the car takes in people?s heart and imagination.
All cars are exposed in the exact condition they were when the museum acquired them and visitors can see the evolution of the 2CV and derivates all along the 42 years of manufacturing. The 2CVs inspired a lot of their users, and visitors can discover astonishing modifications such as a flying 2CV. The 2CV museum and the spare parts shop are opened every Saturday of the year. The entrance is free.
