Zunanja oblika je sicer stvar subjektivne presoje, pa vendar je treba priznati, da le malo enoprostorcev izgleda tako dobro, kot ravno petsede?ni citroen C4 picasso. Z veliko mero simpati?nosti se lahko pohvali tudi njegov ?e znani ve?ji (sedemsede?ni) brat, vendar bo tistim bolj dinami?nim o?etom in mamicam nedvomno novinec vsaj za odtenek bolj prirasel k srcu. Zaradi nabitih bokov, "jaj?aste" bo?ne silhuete, polo?nega vetrobranskega stekla in velikih zra?nih re? na prednjem delu avtomobil deluje prav ?portno.

S petsede?nikom pa prihaja ?e sprememba v poimenovanju. Oznaka C4 picasso je odslej namenjena le petsede?nemu modelu, medtem ko se po novem sedemsede?nik imenuje C4 grand picasso. Nekaj centimetrov manj kot 4,5 metra dolgi enoprostorec naj bi se pona?al z enako odli?no preglednostjo, s kakr?no se lahko pohvali njegov sedemsede?ni brat.

Xsara picasso ostaja ...

Tudi tokrat je druga sede?na vrsta sestavljena iz treh lo?enih sede?ev, ki se lahko zlo?ijo v povsem ravno dno in tako ?e dodatno pove?ajo prtlja?nik, ki ?e v osnovi ponuja 500 litrov prostornine. Za okroglih petdeset litrov manj, kot jih ponuja xsara picasso, ki ?e vedno ostaja v ponudbi. C4 picasso je na voljo z enakimi ?tirimi motorji, s kakr?nimi je opremljen C4 grand picasso, na voljo so tudi trije menjalniki - ro?ni, samodejni in ?eststopenjski robotizirani sekven?ni menjalnik.

The Marque?s new compact MPV instantly stands out with its dynamic, attractive styling. The newcomer?s assertive look conveys both the promise of driving pleasure and all the advantages of an MPV, such as leading cabin and boot space and a commanding driving position, along with all-new features inherent to the visiospace concept: outstanding peripheral visibility and light, easy-to-use modular design, uncluttered interior space, and the highest levels in onboard comfort.

Citro?n is the only manufacturer to market three compact MPVs, each with its distinctive personality and styling.

As with its saloon models, the Marque has created a thorough range of MPVs with differentiated design and specifications. The range now features the compact MPVs, Xsara Picasso, C4 Picasso (5-seater) and Grand C4 Picasso (7-seater), together with the large MPV, the C8.

And then there were five...
Following the C4 Picasso's critical success - from us, mainly, and we're tough to please - Citroen has continued its assault on the MPV market with this: the five-seat C4 Picasso.

No, they haven't just removed a row of seats and claimed it as a fresh model. Although it sits on the same platform as its seven-seat brother, the five-seater has a brand new body shape. And we reckon it looks pretty tasty... for an MPV, at least.

The front end has been completely reworked, with chunky air intakes swathed in black mesh. The quarterlights have been revised, too, while keeping the wraparound glass styling.

And that new beltline is as daftly Gallic as anything Citroen has produced since the DS - all wavy curves and angled lines. Combined with the saloon-style rear end, it gives the five-seater a more determined, purposeful stance than the larger Picasso.

The five-seater will initially be offered with a choice of two petrol and two diesel engines. The 1.8-litre petrol block will be mated to a manual five-speed 'box, while the more powerful 2.0-litre model has the option of a six-speed electronic box or a four-speed auto.

Diesel lovers can choose either a 100bhp 1.6-litre HDi with that five-speed manual, or a 138bhp HDi with a six-speed auto' or electronic 'box. We've tested the seven-seater with the less powerful diesel engine and it wasn't short on puff, so there should be plenty of torquey pull on this baby version.

If you're wondering how the five-seater fits alongside the Xsara Picasso in Citroen's line-up, a spokesman says the new model is a more luxurious, spacious MPV, while the Xsara caters to the budget market.

With the same attention to detail as the impressive seven-seater, and the option of a full-length glass roof and seat-back video screens, we can't argue with that assessment.

The five-seater C4 Picasso should reach UK shores in April this year. There's no firm word on prices yet, but we reckon it'll weigh in about £500 cheaper than its seven-seat equivalent.

Res je lep...7 sede?nik ima samo to prednost, da je ve?ji....5 sede?nik mi je pa dale? najlep?i mini enoprostorec.

Ja, ja, ja, samo kupte, pa hitro. Men je tale 5-sede?ni resni?no dale? najlep?i, a hkrati popolnoma svoj enoprostorec. Podoben mu je samo ?e 7 sede?ni. Vse ostalo kar je na trgu pa je na videz "?e videno, oz. staro".

Hitro pa kupte zato, da bom ?ez par let lahko rabljenega ubodel :-)

Hehe, enako. Samo takole, cez ene 7 let, kupis 4 leta starega za pol cene, pa da lih ne bo prvi ali drugi letnik in bo ze imel odpravljene vse otroske bolezni.
