EDITORIAL.

There is now a part work from HACHETTE entirely devoted to ELIGOR models - all with the reference 888 - There is also a constant stream of new or re-issued models in the various partworks which I keep adding to the database as I have time, and I never seem to get up to date. So once again, this is going out later than was intended and tomorrow I start the next edition.

NOTES ON NEW MODELS.

This list is compiled from information received from you, from magazines such as Automodelisme, Autopassion, Argus de la Miniature, Automobilia, Charge Utile, Four Small Wheels, Citroscopie and others; plus the information from Replicars, NOREV and Model Car.com received by e-mail and by post; plus websites such as jean-marc-brunet and Modelcars NL. . We thank them and acknowledge their contribution.

COMMERCIALS:

In the series of Camions de Pompiers from DEL PRADO in 2005 there was listed the Drouville FPT of 1970.(46) (Which Citroen chassis was this?) This year there has been a Premier Secours 1976 (2) (Another one where the chassis is not listed) and a T46 Guinard (7).

In the MICHELIN Series by IXO there is a C4 van in blue and black (29), and in the series SIECLE D'AUTO there is another C4 van in blue and black (197)

NOREV have made the 2007 JUMPY with windows. (155810) and the 1985 C25 in DDE orange (155980).

TRACTION AVANT:

In the 1:87 series of models from ATLAS, made by UNIVERSAL HOBBIES and sold in the series Age d'or des Voitures Francaises, there is the 1934 &A in black and white and the 1955 11L FFI (10).

In the ATLAS series of Traction Avant there are no 41 'different' modfels. The new ones this year are: 11BL Danish Van (34), 11A 1936 Limousine (35), 11 1939 Commercialee (36), 15 SIX G familiale (37), 1952 15-SIX Radio Monte Carlo (38), 11 Roadster in competion guise (39), 11BL in French Army green and black. (40) and 1951 15-SIX (41).

The 11CV Berline and 7CV Cabriolet are in the HACHETTE part work series of ELIGOR models (888).

From NOREV there is a 15-SIX cabrio 1939 in olive green (153121)

H VAN:

There is a new van from ELIGOR described as gas grey ailees carrees (101031). In the series of commercials by IXO there is a Pizza van (51)

In the series of Camions de Pompiers from DEL PRADO there is a type H Integrale Van (17).

The 'Incendie de Cher' and the grey van are in the HACHETTE part work series of ELIGOR models (888).

There appear to be some re-issues in the ALTAYA MICHELIN Series: Pompiers Usine (5), and the TUB (10)

2CV & DERIVATIVES:

In the 1:87 series of models from ATLAS, made by UNIVERSAL HOBBIES and sold in the series Age d'or des Voitures Francaises, there are two AMI 6 break models, grey and red pompiers. (9)

NOREV have issued the 1952 version of the 2CV which was evidently not in the previous listing (156068) and a 1963 van for a plombeur in green. (156002).

From NOREV there is a 1983 Mehari Azure in 1:18th scale (181516)

The series of models made by NOREV for Hachette and sold through newsagents every two weeks continues with: Oceanic (77), Dolly (colour not known at this time) (78), Formica (79), AZU Mere-Pichon (80), AZU Shipp-Avia (81), Maractello (82), Guardia Civil (83), Charleston in grey (84), Special (85), 1952 'A' - 'Tour Mediterranran' (86) & Ripolin (87).

The 1939 TPV is in the Passion Citroen Series (59) and the 1968 Ami break club in green is also introduced (67)

The 3CV Camionnette in grey is in the HACHETTE part work series of ELIGOR models (888)

The Acadiane is now in the ALTAYA MICHELIN Series (No.1) as is the Mehari (13)

DS:

Made by Label 43 for MiniMini, the DSW appears in the form of a mobile Ice Cream seller,

In the 1:87 series of models from ATLAS, made by UNIVERSAL HOBBIES and sold in the series Age d'or des Voitures Francaises, there is the President De Gaulle saloon in black and a blue decapotable. These are 'Hors series' for subscribers.

The 1969 Monte Carlo Rally winning car driven by Coltelloni has been made by RIO (4188)

The latest releases in the DS COLLECTION from ATLAS are: 1972 DS 23 Prestige (22), 1959 DS Coupe Ricou (23), 1956 DS Slough (24), DS 19 Cabriolet Palm Beach (25), 1963 ID 19 break RTL (26), 1971 D Super (27), 1967 DS 21 cabriolet (28), DS21 Coupe Rallye de Maroc (29), Prototype DS (30) and 1972 DS Confort (31).

New from NOREV in 1:18 scale is the DS23 Pallas in metallic green (181570), and a 1967 cabriolet in red (181561)

NOREV have made the 1958 DS Coupe Ricou (157028) and a

1963 RTF version in blue (158066)

EDITORIAL.

We all know how addictive the internet and the web can be, but in the last three months I have found a site that sets out to list all the models that have appeared in France and Spain as part works attached to a magazine. These are usually from Atlas, Altaya or Hachette and the models are mostly made by Universal Hobbies in China although they may carry the name of IXO, Norev, Solido or Eligor. Just to confuse the situation even more, it seems that there have been a number of test marketing operations in some areas of France, but there is no indication of the quantities that were offered or even if they got beyond the planning stage. In the notes below, I am not listing of these models that were on sale before 2007, but I am working through the lists so that they will be on my database which is in the CD. (See advert below)

As many of you know, I am selling most of my collection in small lots on eBay, and as part of my research I have been surprised at the number of Jouets Citroen models on offer. Some very damaged and incomplete models make surprisingly high prices and equally, some good ones do not make as much as might have been expected. That is eBay.

NOTES ON NEW MODELS.

This list is compiled from information received from you, from magazines such as Automodelisme, Autopassion, Argus de la Miniature, Automobilia, Charge Utile, Four Small Wheels, Citroscopie and others; plus the information from Replicars, NOREV and Model Car.com received by e-mail and by post; plus websites such as jean-marc-brunet and Modelcars NL. . We thank them and acknowledge their contribution.

COMMERCIALS:

In the Michelin collection made by Ixo for Altaya there is the 1930-32 C4 1000 kg in blue (29),another 1000 kg (43) and the 1938 Type 23 1500kg van (32)

In the series “Nos cheres camionettes d'Antan” made by Ixo for Altaya there is a 350N '75 Express' (50), a C4 1000kg 'Au Boeuf Agile' (54), and a 350N bottle carrier 'Verigord' (71)

There was a mention on a website of a series of models reproducing the Jouets Citroen 1:25th series but in white metal. The first to be produced were: 1927 Faux Cabriolet B14 in cream and black which was due in April 2006 (1), the 1935 Rosalie Record type IV in blue (2), and a 1932 C4 Pompiers (3). There would also be copies of the keys (C10j) and the rare Citroen garage (C1). Has anyone seen these?

TRACTION AVANT:

In the test market for the series 'La Route Bleue' made by Ixo for Altaya there was in April 2007 a 'Traction Noire Le Plein d'essence La Pacaudiere-Rianne” (3).

There is a 1938 11CV saloon in black in 1:18 scale from SOLIDO (15063900)

The 7CV Coupe or Faux Cabriolet is made by VITESSE in blue with black wings (23430)

H VAN:

In the Michelin collection made by Ixo for Altaya there is the H van 'Grece' in yellow (23) and the 'Service de Course' version (40).

From NOREV there is the 1961 'SEB' van (154541)

In the series “Nos cheres camionettes d'Antan” made by Ixo for Altaya there is a Pizza van - or mobile shop (51), a pickup glass carrier (62), a TUB in livery of 'Biscuits Brun' (64), a van 'Antiquaire' (67) and another 'Vente Ambulante Caby' (74)

2CV & DERIVATIVES:

In the Michelin collection made by Ixo for Altaya there is the Fourgonnette in grey (25)

In 1:18 scale from NOREV there is the black 1969 fourgonnette in Secours Police livery (181504) and another as 'La Vache qui Rit' (181505) There is also a grey/green 1966 saloon from SOLIDO (20029701).

In 1:43 scale, NOREV have made the 1961 version in red pavot (150625)

DS:

In the Michelin collection made by Ixo for Altaya there is the ID21 break 'Essais' in white (22)

In the series “Nos cheres camionettes d'Antan” made by Ixo for Altaya, there is an Acadiane 'SOS Depannage' (49) and a 2CV Pick-up 'Service Citroen' (69)

In 1:18 scale from NOREV there is the 1963 cabriolet in Rouge Rubis (181561) and the 1972 DS23 Pallas in brun scarabe (181572);also from NOREV in 1:43 scale is an unusual ID break in blue with white roof with a skier on the roof 'Rossignol 1964' (155040), a 1966 DS21 'Palm Beach' converible (157031) and a 1973 DS23 pallas in blue orient (157052)

The Cabriolet Gete Bossaert made by CLASSIQUES is now available in metallic green (1035)

RIO continue with variations on their existing moulds with a saloon representing the 1967 Monte Carlo winning car driven by Neyret and Terramassi (42060) and the 1961 Cabriolet in red (42080) or black (42090)

The latest models in the 'Collection DS' made by UNIVERSAL HOBBIES or NOREV are: Ambulance in white (36), DS23 Rallye du Maroc 1973 (37), Coupe Bossaert 1961 in burgundy (38) 1970 DS21 USA export version – light blue (39) 1970 Pick-up in blue (40), 1970 Chapron Decouvrable D Super in white with brown hood – open (41), 1952 Bertone Prototype in black (42), DS20 break in blue (43), 1962 DS19 in red (44) and 1958 AEAT decouvrable in yellow – made by NOREV (45)

In the Michelin collection made by Ixo for Altaya there is the Rallye version of the car (48)

In the Monte Carlo Collection made by Ixo for Altaya there is the blue Laurent/Marche car #26 from 1975 (30)

VISA:

In the Monte Carlo Collection made by Ixo for Altaya there is the white 1000 Pistes #7 as driven by Andruet/Peuvergne in 1985. (12)

In the series “Nos cheres voitures d'Antan” made by Ixo for Altaya there is a 1981 Super E in gold (88)

BX

NOREV has made a 1982 version in grey (154008)

In the series “Nos cheres voitures d'Antan” made by Ixo for Altaya there is a 1983 BX 16TRS (84)

CX

The latest version of the CX from MINICHAMPS is the 1979 Prestige in metallic blue (400-111401)

There is a model of the 1975 CX 2400 pallas from Nostalgie in silver (49)

NOREV have made the 1981 2400 Gti Dakar version (159007)

AX:

In the series “Nos cheres voitures d'Antan” made by Ixo for Altaya, there is a 1987 model in blue (91)

XSARA:

The 2006 WRC version is in the 2007 test market for the 'Sebastien Loeb collection' made by Ixo from Altaya (3)

In the Monte Carlo Collection made by Ixo for Altaya the 2005 Loeb-Elena car

#1 was released in January 2006 after the test market in September 2005 (1) and there is also the 2006 version (9)

From SOLIDO the 2006 Monte Carlo car #1 Go!!!! is available in blue in 1:43 scale (15127000) and in 1:18 (2032918). It is also made by SUNSTAR in 1:18 (4419).

SUNSTAR have also added the Acropolis Rallye car #16 driven by Gerdemeister (4422) and the Kronos car #6 from the Swedish Rally driven by Carlsson (4426)

C1

NOREV have made the 2007 chrono version in blue damas (155105)

C2

In the Monte Carlo Collection made by Ixo for Altaya the 2005 Meeke-Paterson car was released in April 2006 (6)

C4

The WRC version is in the 2007 test market for the 'Sebastien Loeb collection' made by Ixo from Altaya (1)

BOOKS.

It appears that the 'Voitures du Salon' series from Automobilia has now come to the end. It makes a useful source of reference for the cars on offer since the early days of Citoen.
